Our February Print of the Month is Inner Dance, selected for its confident colour and dancing energy — a gentle lift to carry us through the final stretch of winter as brighter days approach.

 

Inner Dance is taken from an original abstract artwork, part of a series of sixteen paintings on paper exploring expressive mark-making and dynamic colour relationships, with a subtle nod to the Cornish landscape. Energetic, dancing marks move rhythmically across the surface, creating a sense of flow and spontaneity, while a confident, fresh palette brings luminosity and lift to the composition.

 

Inner Dance brings colour and brightness into a room with confident ease, creating an atmosphere that feels both uplifting and energising. It carries a subtle optimism, infused with a sense of movement and possibility.
